As a strategic partner of the Morris County Park Commission, the Morris Trails Partnership is able to offer a unique mountain biking experience: guided legal night rides in Morris County parks.* Our next ride is this Saturday, Sep 8th, at Lewis Morris.
For those looking to ride approx 2.5 hours, meet at the Sunrise Lake boat house parking lot at 5:00 pm to gear up, ride begins at 5:30 sharp. We will ride for an hour, then hook up with the second group, below
For those looking for about 1.5 hours, meet at the Sunrise Lake boat house parking lot at 6:30 pm, ready to ride by 7:00pm sharp.
Ride will be done by approx 8:30 - 9:00.
There is a 10 person limit per ride, on a first-come first-served basis. To sign up, email the following coordinators:

Please note the following apply to all night riders:
-Helmets are required.
-You must have working bicycle headlight systems along with a backup (e.g. helmet-mount light + handlebar-mount light; or one lighting system with back-up battery/bulb)
-Lights should be at least 10W of light output on the lowest setting.
-You must be self sufficient in terms of water, tools, spare tubes and other means of bike or rider support.
-Prior night riding experience is recommended.
-A Morris County Parks Commission liability waiver must be signed before the ride begins.
*Note that all Morris County parks close at sundown, and as such night riding in Morris County parks –other than night rides under this program – is not permitted.
