Left Crank Arm

I just picked up a Giant Revel 1 a few days ago from a local bike shop. Today I took the bike out to Allaire and then into Belmar, midway through the trip my left crank arm came loose. It was so loose that I felt like it was going to fall out and had to find a person on the road that had an allen key to tighten it. Now that I tightened it, I went for another ride and it came loose again.

How do I get it to stop going loose? I've only had the bike since Friday..

Take it back to the shop for repair before you get hurt.

Any reputable shop will stand behind their products against mechanical defects for a period of time. A box store probably won't. Give your LBS a chance to remedy the problem properly and safely. Don't chance having some friend of a friend rig it up for you and void any warrantee you might have.

That crank arm is probably already damaged. Take it back to the shop they should easily get the manufacture to replace it.
