NJ Office of GIS site: One of several "official repositories" of NJ's GIS data. I think they're in the process of consolidating everything to this site. Theoretically they should have a single map (or "Web App") to show all of the data (essentially a modern version of the site listed below) but I have yet to find one.

NJ Geoweb: Old and clunky, but it has all of NJDEP's published datasets in one spot

Many of NJ's counties have their own GIS page similar to Somerset's (I know Morris and Monmouth do, maybe Sussex as well)

There's a statewide 1930 aerial available too, should be somewhere on the NJ Office of GIS site

Atlantic County Historic Aerials

I know there is a really cool site showing a ton of aerial photos taken of Atlantic City boardwalk back in the day, but I can't find it at the moment.

CRSSA: The Rutgers Geospatial lab. They have some maps/data for particular projects they've done

Lots of historical NJ maps here:

Nationally, there's:

Edit: I didn't catch this part, if this is what you're after then the NJ Office of GIS or a County-specific site is your best bet. Otherwise, all the other crap I posted is juts cool mapping sites I know of.

One other: Esri's Living Atlas has all sorts of data to play with
https://livingatlas.arcgis.com/en/browse/#d=2

data for data's sake! can't get enough. (not depeche mode song) stuck in your head now isn't it!

That redone NJGIN just went live last week.

If @Patrick really want, go to NJDOT’s website and find the NJ Roadway Network. It’s is a feature class in a personal geodatabse. You can find out the route identifier for every route in the state and look up mileposts. What fun!

You may be able to get your hands on all of the LRS data that is associated with those MPs too.

@Patrick last week while in Montana my buddy who lives there (and is avid hunter) showed me an app on his phone that showed his gps location and who owned the land-- state gameland, private, county land etc. Said it was extremely helpful during hunting season

Do they have a useful mapping product there? I couldn't find anything (only looked 5 seconds though)
I don’t think they have a mapping interface, it is just all layers and files and such for NJ and different vintages.
