La Ruta reports

An I thought riding 24 hours solo was rough..

This is the big show for sure.

A huge congrats to anyone doing it as finishing ONE day looks insane enough.

How they do 4 is nutz.

I was looking through all the pics on the various sites but saw none of Tim or Sean.

The comments on Tim shitting on the side of the road were pretty funny.. Not to laugh at his misfortune but it must have been funny to ride by and see some guy shitting on the road.

Anyone find pics of the NJ boys??

Sean Grady- 93 in Open Men
Timmy Dougherty-24 in Open Men

Both on single speeds. You fellas are beasts! Great job!

I admire and envy you both, for having completed such a feet! A dream opportunity, I hope to one day partake in. Thank you for the inspiration.

Super impressive showing Jersey!

From what I hear, Tim D's favorite food is a hot dog. I wonder if it was the water, or some late night run to a hot dog truck that did him in. ;)

I can not comprehend how you can simulate or train for this amount of hill climbing while living in NJ.

This is a cool race. Really to survive it is an amazing feat.

wowzer..

Did Sean miss Stage 3? He has no total time.

Can't wait to hear the report in his own words!

Awesome Job Sean!

From what I heard if you are too far back from the leader after each stage you are dropped off from competition. You can continue to ride the rest of the days but your score doesn't count. Then they place you based on how many stages that were completed, and so on.

Great write up! Way to stick it out. That race tests everything a rider has and then some!
