Think it should be presented as such or just make it a flat fee to enter the festival tbh. Just from my perspective....if this many very active MTBNJers have questions about the setup/registration/whatever something isn't really coming across properly.

Just my .02.

Understood.

Honestly, the f'ed up year & limitations plus this new software just make everything more of a chore. We did the best we could and really had to round a few edges.

If anyone is registered for 2 rides and really thinks it is absurd that they had to pay twice, see me on Sunday and I'll give them the $20 to cover the additional ride. I understand the sentiment and I don't want people to come away from this with a bad taste in their mouth.

Show up, ride, hang out, have fun.

You sure put up a hell of fight before capitulating! LOL

Jokes aside, I think it's perfectly understandable given the limitation in number of riders that needs to be observed and where the money goes...but that's me.

Personally I'm gutted that I can't sweep after @Mitch because the ride is full already... still not sure if I'm going to make it to JORBAFest anyway.

It's been $20 to enter for a few years now. With the limitations we have, we want to make sure everyone who wants to get in on a ride can. @Bleeder and Norm and a bunch of people have put a metric crap ton of work into all of it, (esp new software) and we're really grateful to be able to do anything to raise some cash and awareness for JORBA. It's all $$ going to a good cause - we promise it's not just beer money for @Mitch! 😉
 
I remember the fee to donate of years past getting in the fest. It's good to help Jorba and gang out. The rides are closed i wanted to ride (arg) but can we just show up...lurk and pay and hang or whatever? Asking for a friend.
 
Hey everyone, thanks for all the support for the Fest. We've had a few cancellations, and re-jiggered a few things, and have some room for a few people on the following rides: NJ NICA GRiT (Girls Ride Together) ride, the Ladies Ride, the Kids Kombo ride, the 9:00 and 11:00 Beginners Clinics, and the Advanced ride. I've opened registration back up for those rides for anyone who is interested - we'll leave it open until 3 today!
