This event was a blast. So glad I went.

The SS Schilling ride was excellent - First time riding SS which added to the entertainment.

It was nice to run into a bunch of people I haven't seen in a while + finally meet forum peeps in person.

I really don't know Jungle other than the one time I raced there last year in CAT3. @pooriggy gave me a great tour of the place - Thanks!

I brought the BMX bike over to the pump track before I headed home. I think it's time to let that bike go. :(

Great time and a big thank you to Jorba. My wife Lauren got to demo to 650 B bikes which I wanted her to try because she was convinced she want to buy a fat bike but she's coming off of old 26 inch wheeled bike. But she also demoed another fat bike and she is convinced that the fat bike is the one for her and the way she killed it on the fat bike convinced me too. Anyway time to start saving money.
The day I have my single status taken away by a woman who rides a mountain bike and the problems will be not knowing which wheel size or width to buy, I will gladly say I am a man content (period)

We should all wear name tags next year with our forum names...

I wonder how many people who attended are actual active users on this board though.

Thanks Alex and Iggy (it is Alex right, I'm horrible with names) for the impromptu alternate SS4S route and for shepherding me and the rest of the "WTF did we get ourselves into " gang. Lots of good tips provided.

BTW, I went back and did Animal Chute again..and again. Way better the second, & third time around.

Dan-
Yup it's Alex @2Julianas here in the forum! We had fun too...and Animal Chute is a blast both ways (I somehow ended up climbing it two more times yesterday!) ... still prefer down haha!

Had a lot of fun this year at Jungle... Thanks, JORBA!!!

I got in two good rides (last year I got hurt and barely survived one ride)... I was going to hop on a third but hunger got the best of me... Got to demo a Liv Lust (I want it!!!) and I got to see sooo many familiar faces.

I am a man content. Didn't mean to sound like I was complaining. We had a great time. Looking forward to her getting the new fat bike.

i could only hang for half the day. weather was about as perfect as it can get. this was my first time at the jungle - very cool place to ride. i would get lost in a minute with all the criss-crossing trails so i'm glad i could follow people who knew where they were going. nice to see a good turn out and to meet some people face to face.

thanks to everyone who volunteered to get something like this going. must be a lot of coordination and work to pull this thing off.

Yes, it was great to get out and ride with the ladies! It was a great day all around to celebrate our mountain bike community and the trails that we have made happen. Thanks to all involved!
