Shipping some fat bike wheels to Ohio, was going to use Bikeflights but saw Jenson is now in the
game. Anyone use them or others? FedEx and UPS was about $100 and will kill the sale

It's the same deal, you're just buying a label from them at a discount rate. It'll be the same UPS/Fedex shipping as normal.

I've heard uship and pirate ship are pretty good rates as well. Worth getting a quote from them too.

Yes good to know. I just did a quick compare of shipping a frame across the country NJ to CA USPS was $278, Jenson is $74.

Just shipped out with Jenson, Pirate ship wanted a carrier fee of $10 more while Jenson didn't. Was only a little more at the end, but it's still the price of a cup of fancy coffee...

USPS is always way more than UPS or FE. No wonder they are always losing money... I saved about 35%

Funny, for commercial shipping, my company's rates are the opposite - we saved millions this past year by shipping more USPS than UPS.

Are they small packages? USPS doesn't seem to have the infrastructure to manage larger and heavier packages

yes, this is true. Mostly small packages from 0-50lbs

I'd never ship anything valuable with USPS, I've seen packages travel half way across the USA, 10 days of transit time to go from Bergen County down to Ocean county. Perhaps DOGE should focus on those issues first.
