As some of you know my wife is involved in the sport of MMA. She owns a gym in Fairfield where they train and manage several UFC fighters. The UFC hired Jeff Novitzky as their VP of Althlete Health and Performance.
She's had quite a bit of interaction professionally and talked with him at length. He has expressed interest in giving a seminar in our area. His job is to educate fighters (in this case) on the illicit uses of PEDs. She's explained her connection with the cycling world and he was enthusiastic towards opening up the meeting to anyone that might benefit from understanding USADA and WADA rules. Apparently he has some interesting stories specific to cycling.
It sounds like late February or early March possible. Just thought I would throw it out here to see if there is any interest. I know we have quite a few local coaches that may benefit. Ben, Ken, Roger A , Brian L, Larry just come to mind.
