ISO Retail Space in Morristown

if it is primarily drive-up/take-out place, I would push convenience over center stage.
main st h'town and the square in mo'town are a zoo - delivery drivers will double park, or preferable pull-up to a back/side door.
a side street with access might work better.

Im one town over in Mount olive but I know the area well and I do road rides through town all the time. Id check these two sections of town but maybe @mattybfat can also chime in:

- This section of 46 is Main street between Willow Grove road and the train tracks- typical small shops, stores and street parking. This to me is the main part of town with a lot of foot traffic during the day and weekends especially when the weather is nice. There are some municipal parking lots that make it pretty convenient to park and walk a few blocks. But if youre aiming for take out and delivery this may not be ideal, though the fact that Centenary College is a few blocks away within walking distance may make this less of an issue.

Just opposite this section the other direction is Mountain Ave between Willow Grove and Route 57 where you have some smaller shopping centers with storefont shops (like Philly Pretzels) and also the bigger shopping centers like where lowes is. This could be a better option for take out and delivery type spot with better parking but less foot traffic since its mostly small/med /large shopping centers

There are already quite a few taco places in Morristown. You may want to try Madison just down the road. There are a number of store fronts vacant there. Not as hopping as Morristown but has Drew and Fairleigh Dickinson for college traffic. One vacant spot is across the street from the train station. Used to be our favorite sushi place (Takuma) but owner passed away and they got out. Worth checking out.

I made a joke about it being a Taco place as Morristown is competing now for Pizza vs Tacos.

And supposedly a brewery is opening soon too

Wow that looks like oodles for rent each month. Anyone know why they closed? There are quite a few sushi places in Motown. Is there a lot for food trucks in the area? Similar to by Rutgers

@Paul H have you considered a food truck option?
sushi lounge didn't close... they moved to a new location

EDIT: new location at headquarters plaza... still in morristown

Food truck is not an option as I am working with a small franchise and they have requirements.

i also heard that the rock box was closing (SHOCKER)... but i think that space is probably too small and more set up for a boutique kind of store... but tossing that out there

Good luck with the business venture, if at all possible, get yourself a liquor license. A lot of food places have come and gone in Motown over the last 15 or 20 years, but the places with liquor seem to have a much better staying power.
