Intro to Sourlands Group Ride 8/11 @ 9am

I have no Daddy/Hubby duties that weekend so putting this out there EARLY. 9 or 10am start but we can pick day/time based on attendees availability, or heck, we can do both days maybe! Casual pace, social, no drop ride to introduce people to Sourlands because not enough people ride here. While fitness/speed isn't a factor, you must have technical riding abilities otherwise you will not have fun at this super rocky park. We will stop and session option lines. Are you gnar-curious?

I've been wanting to ride here for a long time, but never did because of negative reviews of first-time unguided riders. So I voted for 8/11 and will do my best to get there (with friends).

True story: I worked at the Just Born Peeps Factory in Bethlehem, PA for a short time. Alright, i'm locking it down for the 11th @9am. If anyone REALLY wants a tour on the 10th, i can do that too, just PM me.

Bummed that I won’t be back in NJ until the following weekend. Everyone who hasn’t been to Sourlands but wants a tour should do this ride... it’ll make finding fun lines easier!

I'm in!! Love that place. Tho, if you do the same loop posted on Strava, I'll turn around at the rock playground and re-trace trail back to lot, maybe try new trail. Doing this, a) adds more miles - about a 9+ mile ride, and b) avoids the rock carnage downhill. Ridden it a lot, crashed a lot, walked a lot, cleaned it a few times, ok once.

I love Sourlands and just went about three weeks ago....got 10.4 miles in.... needs rocks and gnar... I try to get peeps to go but blah blah... count me in! I'll spread the word at the local .....
