I can totally agree that it could be a little reminder, being left so out in the open.I'm pretty sure that I enraged quite a few people on that Sat ride.
Yea but they would usually do this in a place that is close to them so they can use the animal for whatever purpose afterwards. Not in the middle of a trails system 3 miles from anything.
