Huber Woods

I'm hoping to get to Huber on Sunday. I would go to Hartshorne but my friends find it to be too hard and I had heard that Huber is an easier trail. How long is Huber in total? Any opinion about it compared to Hartshorne will be great.

When I go to Hartshorne I come down 36 and just turn right before going up the hill into the Highlands. What is the best way to get to Huber from 36?

Thanks in advance.

Huber is less than 4 miles of trails, you'll find a trail map here.

here are directions. 36 to grand ave/locust pt road, entrance up on right across from old run down antique shop. you dont have to go to browns dock road entrance.

park across from antique shop and pedal up gravel road, clay pit trail head is on the left. basically stay to the right at every intersection and you will make a big loop. with 4 miles of trail you can afford to be adventours and just explore...you wont get lost.
you better tell your friends to man up and learn to ride hartshorne:D

agree with Iggy - just keep riding Hartshorne and your friends will get stronger. Huber aint worth the trip.

if youre coming from a distance, I would recommend going to Allaire instead. its just off the GSP exit 98. MUCH MUCH better than Huber.

I will sometimes ride both parks. I park on Navesink Rd. and ride over to Huber, then return to Hartshorne and do a loop there. If you do all of the trails out an back it is about 20 miles.
