How much is too much?

I recently rebuilt a rear shock on a Cannondale Jekyll I bought used. I filled the air pressure to 190 psi weigh about 167 and am using about 3/4 if travel. Initially the ride height feels good, then it feels as if it has squatted . I check pressure and it is the same get back on and the ride height seems to have improved again? Do I put more air in the shock? Its a FOX shock

If I remember correctly from your previous posts, it's an older Jekyll. And the shock is not specified. Rule of thumb was 25% sag on the shock. If your weight is 167 lbs, add gear, so let's make it easy.
180lbs x .75 = 135psi is a good start.

Here's the owners manual from the Cannondale website: https://www.cannondale.com/-/media/...anuals/2003jekyllownersmanualsupplementen.pdf
Thanks! 135 would be too soft , I may have to submerge it in water and look for a leak..., It was professionally rebuilt. It's just confusing since a short rest brigns ride height back up...
