I ran the numbers on my computer and re considered what you are doing.
It is actually called "freecountry". So there you have it!

Small "stunts" and such are becoming a part of normal xc riding. Some people call it aggressive XC, which I have seen on some bikes made for this type of stuff but aren't freeride or downhill bikes. Most people think of XC as XC racing but what most people ride is XC. I prefer trail riding.
