a few years ago i rode this c-dale delta v 700 with no rear disc but the only wheels i had were these grimeca tri spokes which were disc only!

a few strong steel pieces bolted to the oem holes a few spacers and the clamp from a handlebar cross-bar and voiwala.

it was only supposed to be till i got wheels but this was so strong, i used to bounce around on the back wheel, hard braking beating the brake with no probs for 2 years, hell the rotor never even rubbed!

havent rode it in a long time, theres even a bolt missing now too but this worked very well!

thought you guyz might get a kick out of this!

Funny I tried this at the beginning of last season with my Rocky Mountain and sort of got it to work but it got so frustrating and I spent so much time monkeying with it that I gave up. Yours looks better than mine though.

yea i got lucky, if it didnt already have the holes in the drop-outs i would have never tried it, but the holes are what made made think of it!

the only pic of the c-dale i have it dont have the grimecas, it was in "light" mode, haha v-brakes and cc rev-x's, she was a good bike for a long time!

Totally agree. CBR made really nice stuff. They had some really nice looking BMX/Beach cruiser stuff going on in the late 70's/early 80's:

The stem was pretty cool looking especially for that 135mm stem size time frame: http://www.bikepro.com/arch_products/stems/a-cook.html

I remember those QR's. That would be another nice item to have on a bike. Hope they turn up for you someplace.
