Slowy McSlowerson again. Noticed it last night, and surprisingly it's pretty bad this AM

The database seems to be having a meltdown. I'm trying to get an info on the hardware upgrade.

The db is hosted on a cluster of Amazon fire sticks from 2015, isn't it?

Edit: nope. Getting it in the Mills thread too with no quoting.

it is the clock problem again - 1 of the hosting provider's nodes is out-of-sync.
I'll annoy them again after the h/w upgrade.

Past few nights have been slow. Got a time-out error last night after a loooooong attempt by my browser.

We've been getting some out-of-memory errors.
Not sure if it is a "pool" issue, or actual run-away process.
basically, the system stops for those unlucky enough to get them while it keeps trying and eventually fails,
then has to clean up the mess.

Constant "oops there's a problem" messages on failed posts are really getting annoying

Pretty sure that happens when someone else has posted at the same time.

I seem to see it when trying to quote someone.
