I live in Princeton and need a MTB bike fit. Where do I go and, more importantly, why. Thank you.

I've lived in the Princeton area for 13 years and have hit all the local shops. As mentioned already above - Halters is the best- great mechanics and J's fit fixed my recurring knee pain from a prior injury.

On a mtb a bike fit is often deemed less important than on the road. Personally I think about my position and setup as much on the MTB as the road. In some sense mtb setup is a bit tougher as bar width trends to defy logic.

Cool. I will pop in perhaps over the weekend. Do I need to make an appointment? As far as bar width...I am running bars on the narrow side because...trees. Looking forward to the experience. I'll bring a bike you haven't seen yet.
