Hello! Where am I?

Just wanted to say hello. Im new to the board and for the most part to NJ. (texpat) I have recently gotten back into riding and would love to hit some trails but I honestly have no idea whats near me. Im up in Cliffside Park. Any recomendation on some trails nearby to get me back into it? Perhaps a trail not too crazy. Im still on my old beater bike (cannondale m200 se, yea its classic) till I get an upgrade mid summer.
 
Cliffside park is a tricky area for getting off road. Like me you will have to drive to any legitimate riding. You should check out one of those Ringwood entry level rides that gets posted up here. This is a huge place so you should connect with people at your level. That is probably the closest in time as you just go 4 to 17 north and will take 45 minutes tops.

From a small town in south Texas called Houston. 😉

I have been up here for a few years now but just moved to Cliffside Park. I got a beater of a bike ( but I love her 96 cannondale m 200se) last summer from a buddy and started riding again. I would like to get something a bit nicer but its gonna have to wait till at least june.

I was living near the Patriots path out in morristown for a while and would ride there last year but now that I moved its a bit far and she got those trails in the break up. 🙂

Its suppose to be sunny this weekend so I may give ringwood a shot on saturday.

Thanks for the welcomes and I'm sure I will see some of y'all on the trails.
