Long time lurker here. Got into mountain biking late last year only to realize that at a certain point in the year most trails in NJ are unrideable unless you've got a fatbike. I have been having a blast and learning a lot this year at Six Mile on my rigid singlespeed. Feels like it was built for the place.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who has made this site possible as well as everyone who contributes. The trail conditions pages are incredibly helpful.

Rigid SS is perfect at 6Mile! (I'm a local)

Give Allaire and Wharton a chance too especially in the winter.

there are other trail that are a blast on the SS but a lot that are fun on a fattie as well..
 
Thanks everyone! I know it needed the rain badly over there but I'm definitely missing the place. Looks like we've got a week of clear weather coming our way.

6MR has become pretty close to my heart. I have not been to Wharton or Allaire yet, but have hit up Nassau, Lewis Morris, Mercer and Chimney Rock. Nassau is supposed to drain well so I may give that a try in the next couple of days.
 
Thanks for all kind welcomes! Gotta respect that dirt, clearly a lot of thought and hard work goes into making these awesome places.

QC I guess I always dug the black costume. 🙂
