I'm a new rider (3 months). Just stopped by to introduce myself. If any of you ride Nassau I may have run into you or ridden with you at some point. My trail experiences are pretty short.

Nassau (8 or 9 times)
Lake Nockamixon (twice)
Round Valley (twice)
Stevens Park (once)
Sourlands (once)

I ride a 2014 Specialized Hard Rock Sport Disc 29". I've had to make a few upgrades out of necessity (pedals, rear wheel, tires) but for the most part it is stock.

my son and I are on Nassau a few times a month. if you see a 10-yr-old on a fat bike that talks to everybody, that's us.

Hi. Did you happen to ride 6 mile run at the end of May? I helped someone out with their front wheel quick release on their Specialized Hard Rock 29er in the Canal lot before they went for a ride, they (guy and girl) were saying they were new to the mtb so they weren't sure how to work the QR. Then I passed them a few times on the trail, then was right behind them riding back to the lot. Was that you? If so, hi, that was me! If not, then hi anyway lol

No that wasnt me (and my wife). We moved away from that area last year. I havent been back to six mile since.
 
Welcome aboard so glad the Wumpus jokes are already played...if you get south we do a beginner ride every Tuesday at Allaire that is a fun time...
