Hi guys... My name is Ricardo, most people call me Rick. Im from West Orange, and I have always love Mountain Biking, I own a 99 GT Aggressor with Spin Wheels, RockShox, and other lightweight parts(not your average Aggressor) It is very valuable to me since my dad gave it to me on my 18th birthday so I decided to build it. Im here to make some friends & to get some tips on riding, since I havent ride in over 12 years. I have always been into Cross Country, but I am looking forward to get me an All Mountain bicycle or a Down Hill in a near future & go from there.

This is my vintage mountain bike, I built it for racing when I was 19...

let me know what you guys think... I finally pulled it out of the basement & dusted off the whole bike two weeks ago 🙂

How old are you?
West Orange class of 97

I grew up in the valley and moved by the high school for a few years. Now I'm out completely.

My first encounter with a handgun was because of one of those triple triangle bikes. Long story. Hit me up at a campfire one day.

Sorry my hometown is Elizabeth, I graduated from Elizabeth High in '99, I am 34 about to be 35 in a couple of months, and I graduated late because I moved too much when I was a kid, lived in Bridgewater, Middlesex & Sommerville.

Yes Helker!!! it is a Triple Triangle frame!!! Always loved it.

here is a kodak with my wife's 2014 Trek 3500 non-hydraulic brakes & my daughters Raleigh, she is 10 & still on training wheels, they about to come off soon though...

I like the Stella in the bottle cages!

it was a hot day 🙄 lol

Bike has a Titanium Race Face handlebar, King headset, Kore stem, Welgo Pedals, Shimano XT rear deraileur... I had an SR Suntour front fork on it back in 1999 but my rear wheel kept on lifting up on high speed corners making me lose control in a very scary way, thank god I never crashed... then I quickly changed to the RockShox fork & cornering got so much better, I used to have the green Michelin tires WildGrippers on but now it has Velociraptors, I forgot who makes them... next step I want to change my crank set & front deraileur and I think I will be done for a while with it.

Sorry about the gun encounter... Some people like to get things the easy way.
Campfire sounds good, I was looking at their website... Thinking of taking my wife & my daughter there some time soon now. It's just that my wife is not into going fast on a bike

Hi Rick, I'm from West Orange too, riding almost every other day, I'm very familiar with all the trails and places around here, let me know if you want to go for a ride
