Grinding noise after new chain

I replaced a chain a few weeks ago and had the same problem.
New chainring was the solution.

Actually, the last two chains I replaced, same situation.

I always try to replace the chain and cassette at the same time. Combination of new chain and worn cassette can be problematic.

Its also a good idea to use a rag or paper towel to clean your fork and shock seals after a wet ride or really any ride its better then rebuilding your fork and shock prematurely.

I mean it’s heavy but maybe hauling it around will induce some body weight loss.

im guessing i probably won’t need another chainring for a while though.
