Putting together a gravel bike to get in some after work miles. I'm right on the cusp of many of the big parks and wma's that are just littered with hard pack sand roads and since many can be linked, there's lots of great riding loops around here. Places like Brendan Byrne, Colliers Mills, Greenwood, etc. If you're a gravel rider in that area, what tire types and sizes would you recommend for the typical hard pack sand roads found there? I do understand sugar sand is inevitable (i'm more than familiar with it from my moto days of yesteryear), but i would most avoid the vast swaths of it in Wharton and just deal with the occasional stretch of it elsewhere.
