This is a really unique trail called The Ribbon. It starts with a massive slickrock type trail, which is a lot steeper then it looks on the video. The brakes were smoking after the first mile or so and brake fade was a real issue here. The trail eventually narrows down to some ribbons of slickrock. Midway we hooked up to the Holy Cross trail for some good old fashioned technical rock riding. Crank it up.

Glad you like! That's Phish doing 'First Tube'. I'm counting down the weeks until I go back next year.

We didn't use a traditional helmet cam. My friend Montclairbobbyb shot all the footage using a Canon SD1100IS digital camera with image stabilization feature. He mounted it to his helmet using this velcro strap tripod mount:
