Got the SS bug

I just ordered me a 819mavic with a King hub and 18-tooth gear rear wheel cause I'm gonna use my X9 as a tensioner and start some SS rides next week. I will be able to switch back and forth with a quick change of the rear wheel from SS to geared, and to think I was gonna build a whole other bike before I found this out. SS here I come...

that's my grand plan now...to build another SS bike so that my mavic 719s with the hope hubs aren't just fancy (and expensive) art. since i have more than one relative capable of custom fabrication, i may see if i can convince one of them to weld me up a ride. if not, i'll who knows. only time will tell....
