GoPro settings advice for a MTB trip

Will be doing some riding in Cape Town area towards the end of October and will only get one chance to get GoPro settings right. The GoPro is model 8 and will be chest-mounted upside down so I can get more of the horizon when in lower hinge position. Any advice on resolution and frame rate to later edit easily and include slow motion, etc? Looking to keep voice controls on as well to turn the unit on/off by voice to save battery.

Thanks!

play around with settings locally to find what you like.

just a reminder that the voice controls being on use more battery than just putting it in one button mode and manually stop/starting it since it has to stay 'awake' listening for voice commands.
