GONE Free to a good home - Piano

We're moving to North Carolina and a lot of cleaning up. I'll be posting a bunch of stuff but the first one is urgent because the boss wants the haulers to take it away.
Baldwin piano, it was serviced regularly until 2020 (when the kids stopped playing)
The haulers are coming Friday. I don't expect anyone to move it by then but I need a commitment to take it by then.
I work from home so available to come look any time. PM me

That is a nice piano. I couldn't fit it in my apartment otherwise I would probably have jumped on it

Same. I really think my kids would love this rather than the Keyboard piano. But I live in an apartment and got no truck to haul this.

@ilnadi - What are the dimensions and how much do you think it weighs?

The only hinky part of moving a spinet is picking it up (don't grab the spindles in the front of the keyboard, and make sure the handles in the back are actually tight). The wheels are 99% decorative, and it must always be picked up to move it. If you have a third helper, it is prudent to remove the spindles altogether (check the design; most are either pushed on with dowels, or screwed in place). Most spinet-type pianos only weigh ~200-250 pounds.

By furniture standards, they're heavy, but by piano standards, they're practically weightless. Two strong guys can move them. Three makes it easy(ish). Dimensions are largely "standard", and set based on the keyboard; 60w x 42h x 28d would be pretty close to probable dimensions. You would be surprised where you could fit a spinet (or a full size piano [or two {or three}]) if you are determined.

I hear @Patrick loves to move pianos 🤣

I've had some great luck moving spinets. up and down stairs, through homes.
I was in my 20s tho...

Not a problem - if someone wants this for a kid, i'm in for moving it.
Nadi doesn't live too far from me.

I sent my Wurlitzer to a kid, and they are performing at Carnegie hall now. (i made that up)
the carnegie part - not the give-it-to a kid part.

Put it on FB for a hundred and it'll be gone by the weekend. Hate for a nice piece to go to the dump. But I understand not having to deal with FB idiots as well, especially for 'free' stuff.

This is not practical for a piano, but for any FB sale I say to them, "Will meet you at the police station in town." Never once had a bad experience on FB marketplace.

yeah, I figure if I list it on FB for $100 it will be gone quickly but then I have to let people into my house.
