You got ripped off.... 7 miles at RV is like 50 miles at 6MR

I met a mtb couple in there, she indicated that she was a beginner.
I explained their options to continue, turning around, or campground road return
in about two miles - before one of the climbs.
the guy looks at me with the pfft and said they could got farther. He hadn't been there in 15 years.
They'd still have 3 to get back to the parking lot. "Just see how your feel"
She got it, and thanked me - looks at him and says - "it is just a decision point."

I'll check the flybys...

after reading this, I feel my chances just went down, but 2 hours on the road is like 3-4 mountain bike rides for me, in terms of mileage. I’m going to give it a go.

if road works, ride road. Plenty of mtb in the fall. I’m personally loving the smooth pavement and climbs on the road right now. Any outside riding is good riding! You can do it (Rob Schneider said so).

20 more on the road today. 380 to go.
Anyone else’s taint ever get numb?

just so you know, this is a serious problem that can lead to permanent "issues"
get a saddle fit, probably go towards something with perineal relief.
