Giant Roam 1

one step further from pearl's suggestion if you are going for commuting with no singeltrack i'd look at the via. it has a u-lock holder built on which is pretty slick and you'd save around $70.

either way, i don't think you could go wrong with what you are looking at or what pearl suggested, as long as the bike is comfortable.

Are you looking to take this on any kind of trails at all? Reason I ask is because Giant offers a simliar bike that is more suited for commuting and riding around town. The tires and fork are not needed for road use. Check this out:

you obviously havent ridden Burlington,... lol! pot hole central of the south.... complete with wavy sidewalks and broken sewer grates.. I'm surprised he isnt going full suspension..
ALL JOKES ASIDE THAT GIANT LOOKS NICE...:lock:IT UP!

Didn't even look in the road section on Giant. Seek looks like a good fit but like Toast said my town is one big pot hole. Think ill go with Roam in case I have to cut through a field. Thanks for the suggestions

The 32C tires on the Seek would soak up a lot of those potholes. And it's got disc brakes!
