Getting Started with Mountain Bike Photography (bike parks)

Recently tried my hand at mountain bike photography. Shot some pics at the Trick or Creek Jump Jam (link below). I'm a landscape/cityscape photographer and don't shoot action so I have a lot to learn. Fortunately I have a decent camera and a fast lens, plus plenty of willing subjects. This was the third time I went shooting. Now I'm bummed I waited this long to start, since Creek closes this weekend (there's always next year). Looking for tips from anyone into mountain bike photography.

These are some good shots. One thing I noticed from working most of the races at Creek is the photographers set up as low to the ground as possible I guess for the best perspective. If you check Instagram of @benwilsonphoto_ or @nobreakschris, who is in the background of some of your shots, you'll get an idea of their composition.

Thanks for the reply! I follow both of them and a bunch of others. Hoping to do more shooting this year. Just sucks that Creek is a 2h45m drive...each way! Makes for a long day.
