Haven’t used it in about 6 months but should still be pretty good. Ill charge it up fully tonight and Report back after my ride tomorrow

free bump just to share experience.
My Garmin 510 that I bought new in Dec 2013 still lasts me a long time i.e. I did GFNJ back in September with it for the 6th time and thats a 7.5-8 hour day for me.
I just bought a used Garmin 810 from a friend to have as a backup because it was a good deal like this is and it still has very good battery life as well, plus the mapping feature is an extra bonus.
The trick I find especially with my 510 is to keep the backlight setting low and also have it turn off after 15 or 30 seconds. You can wake it up any time by touching the screen
