Free Pool Table

I've got this Brunswick table sitting in my basement and want to get it out to make space for my bike stuff so cars can fit in the garage again. The felt could use replacement as the balls can do some funny things when they slow down, but it is really fine to play as is on a recreational level. It looks really heavy. Legs look like they will come off (bolted on). I'd say at least 4 strong guys + truck. I can help, but I'm 140lb skin & bones.

was just thinking about how nice it would be to have in the basement, but no way I am moving one into it...

Mr. Hat , that looks very similar to the one I have stored in my garage for the last 12 or so years. It is also a Brunswick. One of these days I'll build that 2nd floor over the garage. If I remember correctly you remove the bumper or cushions to remove the slate (by far the heaviest part of table) before attempting to remove legs.

I've had to move one of those before.
If that's the 'real deal' slate table, then 4 dudes is the minimum amount to move one of those.
Slate tables are incredibly heavy. I mean, like really effing heavy.

Thanks for the info guys. I will take a look at the bumper/cushions and report back. Spence, your bro-in-law has been warned on the weight, lol.

Hmm tempting. The slate is in 3 pieces?

I'm not sure at this point since it came with the house and I haven't tried taking it apart yet. Someone actually PM'ed me about it before you so he gets first dibs, but will let you know if it falls through.

Okay, let me know. I'd need to see it before committing to taking it, just so I can make sure it can be removed from your house and put in mine. But, that's if the dibs blah blah blah...
