Using Chrome -

Google Chrome is up to date
Version 84.0.4147.89 (Official Build) (64-bit)

On my Dell Laptop.

Did not have a problem with the drag and drop last week.

Pic download has been slow for a while, but figured it was larger images.
 
image reply drag/drop box works for me.

check the windows 10 change - right click->esc to re-enable
(or something like that.)

Yo - sometime this morning, our hosting provider went off-line.
No "so sorry" email from them yet.

Anyway, forum has a new patch that needs to be applied.
Hopefully speed up some of the weird lag that comes up every so often.

I'm going to attempt it late tonight/early tomorrow morning.
I'd expect about 30 minutes or so.

There is also an update to the ignore thread functionality.
Will let you know when that happens.

being it is 2020, I'll make an extra b/u copy...

Well, whatever that was, it wasn't me!

One of the database tables which tracks sessions (think 'login') became unstable, so the system stopped until it was fixed, in an attempt to not get worse.

Even less useful than limp mode.

Funny it happened after I uploaded a photo to the light it up post. Then I thought shoot I don’t have that type of power to take down a database.

Just finished the upgrade -

you'll see some differences in the toolbars for composition.
and the way pictures are uploaded/inserted.

i'm not sure what else they did - it didn't seem to break anything other than the 'ignore content' add-on.

the author has the bug report, and is working it.

Let me know if y'all see something unexpected - use a spoiler if need be. ;)

Testing photo insert. I took that last night
That interface looks a little different now from my phone at least.
And it doesn’t preview the photo inline the message anymore like it used to before you post.

I pasted in Drago and it previews on my phone.

I attached this wonderful bottle of rhubarb and ginger liquor and needed to click on it top left to select inserting the image or thumbnail. Once I did that, it inserted and previewed

So much for download and install later.
It just happened - other than constantly getting ads for Wildcat sunglasses
here and everywhere else - It seemed to have worked.
