While finalizing components for my XC build, I was wondering what you guys think of fork travel. The frame-Kona A is speked for a 80mm fork. I realy want to put a 100mm travel fork on my new bike. I think that there will be no problem with a small amount of extra travel that 100mm fork will offer. Thank you for any input.

The only problem will be a slacker head tube angle that will make the bike sluggish in the corners and not climb well. That been said I ride a 100mm fork on my Ferrous that is built around 80mm. No problems with the handling. I put the travel reducer in my F29 once and didn't notice a big difference except that my hands went numb after the first 4-5 big hits.
