I bought this 2x9 26" hardtail in 2001, when I was an impulsive 21 year old that thought I was going to start racing again. I did start racing again. Last year, and not on this bike. Needless to say, the bike spent much of the last decade dormant.
My race bike is in pieces waiting for a new swing arm, so I decided to breath some new life into this old bike before racing it at bagels & bacon this weekend. It is a fun ride for sure, but it is a bit too small for me.
The Headshock was re-built last week at Cosmic Wheel, and has one ride on it.
Stuff that is not stock:
-Grips: ODI bolt-ons
-Tires: New Nevegal 2.1 Rear (ridden once), Nevegal 2.1 Front (well-worn)
-Breaks/Levers: Avid BB5's (new pads in the rear, and I have an extra set for the front)
-Shifters: New SRAM X7 (put them on last week, ridden once)
-Rear Derailleur: New SRAM X7 long cage (put it on last week, ridden once)
-Seat: Ritchey WCS Ti rails
-Pedals: I have Eggbeaters on their now, which I'd prefer to keep, but could throw in
Everything else is stock and original, including the Cross-Max Disc wheel set, cassette, chain, cranks, chainrings, etc.
Size medium.
$500 obo.
