First Ride...

I plan on hitting 6 mile on Monday. I live in Monmouth County. I plan on taking 522 west to where it meets Rte 27 (right in front of Trap Rock- place I used to pick up stone when I worked for a trucking company) and making a right, heading northbound on 27. How far from 522 is the parking lot for 6 mile?

Also, is there a map or something near the parking lot I can check out before I hit the trails? I've looked online here and on the state website and it doesn't appear to be too confusing. I guess I should plan on hitting the blue and yellow trails? Looking forward to the bridges as well, it appears as if you guys have put a lot of work into this place.

Check this out...Its well marked. Do yourself a favor and skip yellow, but make sure you hit the orange.

Definitely stick to the Red/Orange/Blue as marked on the new map linked above. There are no maps at the lot to reference that I have seen. The trails are pretty well marked, and well traveled so its pretty hard to get lost.
