Well, just to be clear, a Krampus is a bigger 29er, not a fat bike, there's a difference. A Krampus will not ride in sand or snow like a fat bike.

-Jim.

So, if I ran like 2.4's on a 29er, it'd be kinda like that, only different?:D

The 2.3 Nobby Nic when measured is less than a 1/4 inch smaller than a 3.0 Knard. A Bontrager 29-4 is even closer. As a reference, if you mount the Knard to a normal 29er rim like an Arch, it'll fit in a stock Karate Monkey...

I was |........| that close to buying a Carver when I got my 9:ZERO:7. The O'Beast is super nice!! It NEEDS the Carver fork though, that would put it over the top!!

PS-That thing is going to need a chain guide of some sort. I've tried to set them up without and it doesn't take long before they come back.

PPS-Rotate the banjo of that rear brake so the hose doesn't get ripped off :D

PPPS-I didn't think anyone rode Speedplay Frogs, I don't think I've sold a pair of those in like 10 years :hmmm:

He has the Carver Carbon Fork on his 907...Besides the fork it is not as weight weenie as the this bike...It weighs in at 27lbs...

Yeah, I questioned him on the no chain guide...He is running a bashwich (bash on both sides of the chain ring) He said he has run this on other bikes without issue...If if was me I would definitely run a more conventional guide for sure...

A more appropriate shot of the Beargrease. I have some new tires on the way so we'll be saying hello to ~25lbs very soon.
