I am so terribly sad to hear this news. I kept going to the original thread hoping to hear something positive. I never met Chris, I wish I had.

There are people in this world who want to do better, or be that kind of person. It's so rare that you can just make yourself that way. From the posts and stories I've read about Chris, he just 'was' that kind of person. He didn't have to try, it was just his nature.

My condolences to all of Chris' family and friends. I am so very sorry for your loss.

So sorry to hear this news. I did not know Chris well but always saw him at the races. Good guy, always spreading the love. Godspeed, we will keep him in our thoughts and deeds.

I can't complain about ever being to tired to ride, not having time, the hill being to long and steep, or having the wrong gear when I hear stories about people like this. Thanks for being part of the community, helping build the trails we ride, and being an inspiration to the entire community.

I see death alot. One thing I've learned is to celebrate his life! So cheers to chris! I hope all his friends and loved ones find trails that lead to the highest peaks with views so glorious that they can only think of you.
