Fall in the Jungle?

Went for a morning ride today, starting around 8:00A. Temps were high 60s to low 70s. There was a breeze. Things had drained well from the rain yesterday. It felt like Fall and it looked like it too (see pics).

It had been since late June that I had been there. You can forget just how great this place is. I fell twice - once pushing too hard and once not pushing hard enough. I had 2 minor mechanicals - bent my derailleur hanger and burped a tire on the rocks (needing some air restored). In some places it was hard to see the rocks.

But, man, it was great! Classic North Jersey rocks! Some of my favorite trails are Babs, Junkyard Dog, Boulderdash and Rhino, to name a few.

If you haven't been to the Jungle in awhile...go get some!

You are right about it being fall!! Rode there yesterday and the leaves are down! Hard to see the rocks in places. Love it there.

Leaves will probably come down early this year because of the lack of rain. I see many turned trees already and more than average leaves on the ground in the woods.
