experiences with ski/snowboard roof rack

So I picked up a Thule Snowcat. These mount to the factory bars on the car.

I'm wary of mounting it to roof and driving at 60mph+. The clamps are only held down by one allen bolt. I'm afraid it may loosen on vibrations and the wind will lift my boards and just rip everything off the roof.

Should I be worried? Do you ppl secure these racks with anything else (i.e. tape, zip ties, etc.)?

No Worries. No If you follow installation instructions you'll be fine. I'd be more concerned with trying to remember to close the rack so your skis don’t end up on in the middle of route 27
