long overdue ride with a former co worker who's retired. did some exploring on new roads and surprise climbs and legs/lungs felt great and we ended up doing 56 miles. Great weather even if a little breezy at times.

Crisp and cool weather again. we put in a few efforts here and there and got some PRs. even after yesterday's ride fitness feels great.
will have to sneak in a dog walk for recovery with one of the kids tomorrow cause I'm losing ground to all these family rides and walks. plus i want to ride both days this weekend because 80F+ weather in September is not to be missed.

My wife and I went for a walk after finishing work for the day, but before dinner. Towards the end of the walk, we ordered a pizza from Frank Pepe. The original Frank Pepe's pizzeria was opened in New Haven CT in 1925. A mall location opened a few months ago and so we go there for pizza, as it is way better than the local chain options of Bertucci's or Papa Gino's.

I'm going to start riding somewhere safer, like the turnpike. You have a lot full of people all riding from one direction so what's the smart thing to do? Barrel ass full tilt in the opposite direction knocking people out of your way I guess. Fucking endurbros, I'm done with sixmile. At least I got one point(and a swollen knee).
