I've been obsessing over the Rise recently. Where did you purchase? And how do you like it? Any issues?
it's great, got it online at bikebling, tenafly and halter's both carry them, here's a pic to help your obsession.

So, we have Class 1, Class 2 and Class 3 Ebike. Is there a way to distinguish which is which with a distinct identification number/mark placed on the bike (1,2,3)?

I know what the criteria is for each class of Ebike, but what if a state, county or municipal park wants to adopt rules as far as what class of Ebike to let into their park. How does anyone distinguish between these bikes and enforce what ebikes can ride trails and what ones can't?

IMO simple ebike identification is needed on the bike, otherwise they're all lumped into one category...illegal.

Yes, because no one can figure out how to obtain the proposed simple identification system for a lower level than what they have.

The manufacturers do put a sticker designating what type the bike is, but not something you'd see from any distance.
