I'll bet you a dollar that Ross Schnell from Trek beats the field, and Mark Weir doesn't even place in the top 5.

can't believe this guy creamed everyone in both races. Lopes was 5th in the downhill -- weird.
The "downhill" race included 700 feet of climbing, so it's not surprising that a guy like Schnell who's a top-level XC pro as well as a former DH'er killed the race like that.
I think it's embarrassing for Weir and the locals who've touted their own toughness and superiority for so long to get creamed and have new course records set by a guy who'd never ridden the course before this year...
