Just at the SRAM site and these caught my eye. Anybody out there try these? Opinions? Thanks.

They are out. They'll cost about the same as the X9 shifters. I have NOT seen them on any production bikes yet, nor have I spotted any reviews.

Not much help...

They are only made in 10 spd for now. I think that they would be killer in 9 spd.

I use the RED stuff on my cross bike and I love it. The internals work the same way..I would guess.

A guy in the weight weenie forum at mtbr tried them. Said they don't shift on par with x9 or x0. Solid shifts, but long delay.

I think they are meant for those riding a flat bar road bike. Dont think they are build to the standards of mtb components.
