Do I need to run a T-Type Cassette with Transmission Drivetrain?

Or can I opt for an older model of eagle cassette? Is it the case that performance of the transmission drivetrain is reduced by running a non-T type cassette?

Yeah, from what I've read and videos I've seen the T-type works best as a system. Not saying it won't work with non t-type drive components but if you're going to spend the bucks why not have it perform at its best? Just my opinion.

Based on how my transmission bike shifts on my trainer with a regular eagle, I'd say get a t-type cassette.

I keep it in 1 gear 99% of the time on the trainer so I don't really care much.
