Disc brake adapter

I have a for with Post Mount for the brake caliper. As it sits it can only handle a 160mm rotor and to go up to 180mm I'll need an adapter. I have a Shimano brake caliper so is the Shimano SM-MA-F180P/P2 the correct adapter for me?

That adapter will work to install 1 180mm rotor on a fork with post mounts for a 160mm rotor (if I got the question correctly).
