I know this is a long shot but I will be in Copenhagen in August and am starting to research riding in DK. I know they have National cycle routes - which is amazing, but I wonder how the mtb scene is. I could always do some touring or road but let me know if you’ve got any experience or recommendations/bike shops/etc…

I figured I’d post this since there was an overwhelming response 😂. Anyways I rode the trails in Harescovby and it was fun but wasn’t really impressed. I then rented a gravel bike and proceeded to explore and wander and had way more fun. The infrastructure for cycling is insane and the gravel and accessibility by train is crazy. I think I walked close to 100 miles and rode over 250 miles in the 10 days I was in Denmark. It’s flat, windy, and very easy to navigate. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for an interesting overseas experience.
