I just tried that too. Good, but not my fav. For that I’m torn between Treehouse Brewing Single Shot coffee milk stout and a new discovery I love - Cape May Brewing Ties the Room Together White cream stout.

Rumor has it that this is the last time they’re making it. I picked up some of that and some Bourbon County’s up in VT. FYI, barrel aged Ten Fiddy also now comes in the smaller format. FWIW, I think the Ten Fiddy nails the barrel aged thing the best.
Ugh.
Now I have to chase that down (BATF).
I enjoyed that, but the stovepipe was full commit.
And too bad if you’re right about CBS, it’s bad enough KBS took a hit with the new lactose or whatever they started in 2017.

I don't think that there's lactose in the KBS, that whole lactose trend is bullshit. If you want lactose in your beer, go pour put a scoop of ice cream in it (which works with Guinness BTW). I think the barrel aged Ten Fiddy is better, partly because it ages better in the can vs. a bottle.
If you want CBS or KBS, road trip it up to VT, plenty of liquor stores have it in stock. Everyone up there is still brain washed on everything IPA. The brewers up there must be having some sort of big dick contest as to who can make the hoppier, more "manly" beer. John Kimmich from the Alchemist likes to call beers light on the hops "weak beers". He should visit Hill Farm one day to see how a balanced beer is really done.
Catching up on my holiday backlog here..... all were good some were great
