CX bike training tire

So wife and I just picked up cx bikes. I do not want to burn the knobbies up on road/rail and canal trails.

So question is, what tire do you all use for training?

On my road bikes I have always ran Conti 4 season, thought about those in a 32 possibly. Or possibly the Continental Contact Pro, wife uses this tire on her commuter bike.

Thank you

If your going to use it on road or gravel/canal trails I would pick 32 gatorskins over the 4 seasons if its a training tire. I usually end up running whatever cx or 28-32 road tire I can find cheap. Best cx tires I found for training on road/gravel are tufo files with sealant, set and forget.

For me, when I'm not racing CX I have Panaracer Gravel King SK 700x38's on my CX bike for gravel racing and general multi purpose off roading.

Schwalbe G-ONE SPEED in 35 or 38 set up tubeless is a great tire for fast road riding and light trail-work.
