Cursor position in text boxes?

Has any one else noticed an issue when clicking a text box, like a reply box or login field, that the cursor position is not correct? Hard to explain but if I line up my cursor with the username box and click on it to enter my login, the cursor on my screen is in the box, but the webpage is highlighting the row of text above it.

I'm using the most current chrome and I only have this issue on this site. Not a big deal, just annoying after a while.

maybe the blue and orange gives me a stroke. It's still happening though. I go on various other forums with vbulletin and I don't have this problem on any other site. Very strange.
